The library is attracting new patrons and increasing the circulation of its materials. You might have heard that "libraries are a thing of the past." Well, our Library circulated over 18,000 items and received 19,536 patron visits IN NOVEMBER ALONE. Thing of the past, indeed!
The library lighting has been improved from fluorescent to LED bulbs. Your eyesight didn't suddenly get better, alas, but thanks to the new bulbs patrons don't need a flashlight to see books on the bottom shelves anymore!
Patrons will soon be able to borrow kits for adults suffering from Dementia or Alzheimer with books and manipulatives, as well as kits for children's mental health. These cover issues such as anger, jealousy, and more.
